Wool Week is now Wool 16 Days! It took me a bit by surprise but I managed to get some wool to The Silverdale Hotel for display.The Hotel has acted as host for a display for the past few years and is currently being beautifully done up by the owners.The point of a display there is that you can see the conservation grazer sheep in their field from the hotel windows while enjoying your meal.We had a great welcome from the owners and a gorgeous cup of coffee while we set up a coastal themed display of local wool.
On to Arnside to leave some stock at Posh Sardine wondering what everybody on the Stone Jetty was looking at....... here it is The Arnside Bore! No its not a boring person its a tidal phenomenon (I think)
Lovely day out nice weather for a picnic on the shore at Silverdale
and then pop in to see the farmers in Yealand Conyers and collect some lovely Masham fleeces the very last of this years fleeces.I'm really late with everything this year!
